Car of the Month April 2024

We have owned this 1966 convertible since 2012. We have enjoyed taking it “day-tripping” to unique towns and great places to eat around Texas. Since we owned it, some of our projects have been stripping it down to have a total paint job maintaining the original color and updating most all the chrome along with adding an original style luggage rack.

For safety, we have added front disc and power brakes. On the interior, we added the center console along with most of the interior chrome. One of our next projects is to replace all the seat upholstery with the TMI Deluxe Pony Sport Seat Series II to enhance the interior styling while keeping its original Pony interior look. We have owned several different early model Mustangs since 1979 and are long-time Mustang enthusiasts.
