Car Shows

MOCA Shows

Mustang Owners Club of Austin hosts two car shows a year. MOCA's first car show began the first weekend in August 1980. Since the first show, MOCA has held a summer show every year since.
Members became interested in hosting another show earlier in the year. So, beginning in 2008, MOCA has hosted a Spring Show at The Dell Diamond. Both shows provide a fun atmosphere that car owners of any breed can enjoy. MOCA also caravans to a number of regional car shows. See OTHER SHOWS below.

33rd Annual Mustang and Ford Roundup

Saturday, September 7, 2013
Location: Great Hills Baptist Church, 10500 Jollyville Road, Austin, Texas

The Mustang Owners Club of Austin (MOCA) had its very first car show in 1980. As one might expect, the number of Mustangs on display at that show was not great, but it was obviously an inspired idea, as there has been a MOCA car show every single year since then.

On September 7, 2013, MOCA hosted its 33rd Annual Round Up of Mustangs, Fords, collector cars from other Ford Motor Company divisions, and Ford-powered vehicles.

I just wanted to say thanks for another great show. My brother got me started with your show 6 years ago, and I have been enjoying them ever since - in spite of the 520 mile round trip.

This Year I have my favorites- the Yellow Boss 302. I probably spend 30 minutes admiring it every year (been enjoying it at the Yellow Rose as well). Then there is a beautiful Dark Ivy Green 70 with the knockout paint job. This year there was a 70 with a 429 ?? what a
shoehorn that must have taken! Another favorite was the Grabber Orange Heritage Class Shelby- and with such a neat history. Others
that stand out in my mind ( 67-68 cars ) were the "Original" white coupe, the Red Fastback with the Aluminum Shelby 427 and the Legend Lime Green Fastback that appeared to have been built literally from the ground up. Gives me hope and inspiration for my projects ! What a great field of Cars. Please thank all your members for sharing their cars for the event.

Thanks again for the great show, and hope to see you next year.

Regards, Mike
