Car of the Month September 2023

Thanks for choosing my 2018 Mustang GT Premium for Car of the Month.  I bought this car in August 2018 after deciding to work for 2 more years before I retired.  I reasoned that if I had to delay my retirement, I deserved a new car.  Yeah, I know.  Pretty slim excuse for a new car, but I really wanted it. 

It was one of about a dozen 2018’s left on Covert’s lot at the end of run.  This one checked off most of what I wanted in the new car.  This car is just amazing.  Fun to drive, scary fast, comfortable and gets amazing mileage for 460 HP.  I also love the 10 speed automatic.

She became Miss June’s (68 fastback) garage mate and I think they bonded.  I had the C stripe added to acknowledge their bond.  I also like that they are 50 years apart.  I also want to thank…or blame our dear departed friend, Charlie Schlund for planting the seed that started me looking and building Mustangs online.  Anyway, thanks again and we hope to see you on the road.
